2025 Sponsor Levels

To celebrate Earth Day, Maker’s Apron Creative Reuse presents Compost Under the Canopy, a temporary mural installation in Sequoia Park, Sunday April 20th, 2025 beginning at 9:00 a.m., … gone by sundown. Artists will use fresh compostable plant materials to transform the trail in Sequoia Park into a colorful art walk under the ancient sequoias. The community will enjoy beautiful art in a vibrant, peaceful setting while learning about the often overlooked fourth R of waste reduction: ROT! Art starts at 9:00 a.m., is finished by noon for the photos, then at sundown it’s all swept into the compost bin!

Be a part of this unique public art event. Our first two runs really captured the imaginations of the public and brought them out to the park. Regular users of the trail were surprised and delighted as were tourists on the Redwood Skywalk above. Hundreds of people made a special trip to Sequoia Park to see it.

Show your support for the environment, the Arts, and the majesty of our ancient sequoia forests by sponsoring Compost Under the Canopy 2025.
